CSS Standards
We are experts in CSS styling and development.
Presently we validate our CSS against CSS level 2.1. However, for the browsers that support them, we include 'progressive enhancements' which means that we will not shy away from using new, modern CSS3 selectors and attributes where it will benefit a user's experience.
We do this in a sensitive way that will not break the website for those who perhaps do not have the option of upgrading to the most modern browsers. Generally speaking, given enough time, all users will have browsers that support these enhancements, so there are obvious long term benefits to this practice, as well as the immediate benefit to those whose browsers do support them (or those for whom browsers are automatically updated).
