Website Services: Town and Community Council Packages
We offer website package deals for local Town and Community Councils so that they have an attractive website that reflects their local population and environment, helping them improve their presence on the web and facilitate interaction with their community.
The package contains the design, development and setup of an informative, user-friendly and helpful website for the Town or Community Council. Our new council websites adhere to the W3C web accessibility guidelines (level 2), and can be enabled for additional translations (e.g. Welsh).
Although there are guidelines for particular pages your website should contain (e.g. clerk contact details, community background information), with our system councillors may create as many pages (and sub-pages) as they need, containing the content they want.
Package features included as standard:
- The planning, build and setup of the website together with our content management system (CMS), that can be used to manage the content of the site. The modules included as standard are: Pages, Menus, Councillors, Council positions, Council records (agendas, minutes, planning and other strategic documents)
- An attractive website design that reflects the local community and environment.
- Domain email accounts of any type (mailbox, forwarders or mailing lists).
- No limit to the number of website pages or menu items that can be created.
